What We Beleive
God is the Creator, King (sovereign) of the Universe. He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is love. (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 40:28, Hebrews 11:3, Psalms 95:5, 1 John 4:8).
Man is sinful, selfish and rebellious from birth. Without God’s grace, the sin and selfishness only progresses. (Genesis 3; 6:5, Romans 1:25; 5:12).
Our only hope is the love and grace (gift) of God’s salvation. Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ. Jesus came to save us from our sin. (Ephesians 2:8, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 12:2, Psalms 51:12, Matthew 1:21.
Christians are called to the holy-righteousness of God – exemplified in Jesus Christ. Only God can make us holy; and restore us to the “image” we were created in. (Genesis 1:26, 2 Thessalonian's 5:23 – 24, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Matthew 5:48).
Christians are called to emulate and elaborate the hope found in the love and grace of Jesus Christ, to a hopeless – helpless world. We accomplish this through our lives and our lips. (Matthew 4:19, Genesis 1:28, Acts 1:8).
Christians are called to “go make disciples” of Jesus Christ. To lead every person in our world to the transforming, life-giving power and love of God. To teach them everything Christ taught us. (Matthew 29: 18-20, Ephesians 4:13, Hebrews 12:2).
The Word of God, (Bible, Scripture) is eternal and effective to transform, cleanse and thoroughly equip every area of our lives. (Isaiah 40:8, 2 Timothy 3: 16-17, John 1:1).
Christians are called to love and serve our families and friends, those in the church (body) and every person God brings into our world. Jesus exemplified this. “I did not come to be served, but to serve.” (Matthew 20:28, John 15:12, 1 John 4: 7-8).
We believe in prayer and fasting which connect us to the power and miraculous healing grace of Jesus Christ. There is nothing impossible with God. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Luke 5:16, Matthew 6:6, Jeremiah 29:12).
Yes, you can! By the Power of God’s grace, you can live the life you were created to live. You can accomplish what you were created to accomplish. You can be and do what seems impossible. (Philippians 4:13, Joshua 1:7, Genesis 18:14).
